About this tool

Most resume builders ask for an account before they show you anything, then charge you at the download step. This one works the other way around: you type, and a clean resume builds itself next to the form in real time. Add your name, the job title you are aiming for, your contact details, a short professional summary, your most recent job with the dates and what you actually did there, your education, and your skills. The preview updates on every keystroke, so you can see length, balance, and wording as a hiring manager would — one page, clearly headed, with nothing fighting for attention. Three simple templates change the feel without changing your words: Classic, a traditional serif layout that suits formal industries; Modern, with a pink accent bar and clean sans-serif type; and Compact, which tightens the spacing when your experience runs long. When it looks right, print it or save it as a PDF straight from the print dialog — the printed page contains only the resume itself, in black on white, with none of the form or page furniture. Everything happens in your browser: your name, phone number, and work history are never uploaded, stored, or shared.

How it works

  1. Fill in the form: name, target job title, contact details, summary, skills, your most recent job, and your education.
  2. Watch the live preview update as you type, and switch between the Classic, Modern, and Compact templates to change the layout.
  3. Write job details as one achievement per line, starting with a strong verb — each line becomes a bullet in the preview.
  4. Click Print / Save as PDF and choose Save as PDF in the print dialog to download a clean, print-ready copy.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Resume Builder really free?

Yes. There is no account, no paywall at download time, and no watermark. You build the resume and save it as a PDF through your own browser's print dialog.

Where does my information go?

Nowhere. The resume is generated entirely in your browser from what you type. Nothing is uploaded to a server or saved anywhere, so closing the page clears your details completely.

How do I get a PDF?

Click Print / Save as PDF, then in the print dialog choose Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF) as the destination. The print stylesheet hides everything except the resume preview and prints it in black on white.

What should I write in the job details box?

One achievement per line, starting with a strong verb and including numbers where you honestly can — customers helped per day, tickets closed, money handled, people trained. Specific results read far better than a list of duties.

Can I add more than one job or school?

This builder focuses on a strong one-page resume with your most recent job and main education entry, which is what most applications need. Lead with the role most relevant to the job you are applying for.
